Hi, I'm Ember. I was raised in the mountains of Vermont by my amazing mother. I always knew there was more to the world than cows, dirt roads, and really good cheese. I moved to lovely Southern California for college and never looked back. I was always much too glamorous for the small towns of Vermont. I have been attempting winged eyeliner and fake lashes since the age of 13. So you could say that I've gotten pretty good. Keeping up with the beauty industry is one of my few passions and I'd like to share some of my knowledge with you!

Time flies; my sophomore year of college is coming to an end. This means one thing: summer! I just got a job at the cutest little boutique and cafe called Morning Lavender in Tustin as a barista. I will be working there part time this summer and living in my house in Orange. I'll have so much free time to experiment with makeup. Ever since I graduated high school it feels like I have had no free time to play around with makeup or even watch my favorite makeup gurus on YouTube. Products You Should Splurge on!

Best Foundation Ever! The other day I was going through my bank statements trying to figure out where all of my nonexistent money goes. I saw that I spent $70 on two products at Ulta. That seems like a lot for two things. But, there are some products (things that I can't live without) that you simply must splurge on. I've accepted this, but it might take others a little more time. The products are: Too Faced: Born This Way Foundation ; A smooth and pigmented liquid foundation, I'm the shade "Sand." This foundation is worth the money ($39, which isn't bad for foundation), it covers up any blemishes and makes skin appear clear. It is just the right amount of pigmentation while making it appear like you have naturally flawless skin. It Cosmetics: Bye Bye Under Eye concealer In the shade "Medium."
